Baltimore Kennels established 1989

The first Chesapeake at the Baltimore Kennels was Glendronach Ghillies Son or 'Pye' as he was known. He came to us in 1989 and he was to become a superb wildfowling dog and in the few Show appearances he made he always did well. Pye became my foundation Stud dog.

In 1992 Pye was joined by May's Gunner at Baltimore, known as 'May' she enjoyed both working and showing doing well in both.

Chesepi Fortune Teller at Redchester 'Becky' also joined us in 1992 at eighteen months old, she became my first real Show Chessie winning

many Best of Breeds and also Reserve Best in Show at a United Retriever Club Show.

She thoroughly enjoyed going out rough shooting with me as well.

Becky was to become my foundation Brood bitch and from her first litter in 1993 to Pye I kept Baltimore Bright Lite 'Maia', sadly at just over twelve months old she contracted a virus from which she was never to recover, as she was so ill we had to let her 'go' as there was nothing further the Veterinary profession could do for her at that time.
